AECO is pleased to welcome new staff member Malik Milfeldt who was selected for the position from a pool of highly qualified candidates. He assumed the position on February 1 and stays on until the end of October 2020 when Edda Falk returns to assume her position after her parental leave.
Malik holds a Master’s Degree in Communication and has worked as Product & Development Manager, Greenland, for Albatros Arctic Circle and Legal & Compliance Manager for Albatros Expeditions. He has worked as Cruise & Senior Consultant and PR Manager for Visit Greenland in Nuuk and in Copenhagen. His experience also includes working as a tour leader in Greenland, Canada and the US. In addition, he owns his own PR and communication consultancy and is co-founder of a start-up Zodiac training company.
Malik has extensive knowledge of AECO through his time in the Arctic tourism industry and has been part of AECO’s Community Engagement Committee. He is originally from Greenland and resides in Copenhagen, where he works out AECO’s office location at Nordatlantens Brygge. He speaks Danish, English and French.
