Who We Are

AECO is an international member organization for expedition cruise operators and other stakeholders committed to responsible tourism in the Arctic.

Through collaboration, standards, guidelines, and advocacy, AECO works to ensure that Arctic expedition cruising benefits visited regions, with a strong focus on environment, local communities, and safe operations.

Based in Tromsø, Norway, the Secretariat oversees the association’s daily activities and provides administrative and operational support to members.
