Gateway to Svalbard

Svalbard Cruise Forum invites stakeholders involved in cruise tourism in Svalbard, as well as all cruise operators, to a pre‑season meeting to prepare for the upcoming season.

All cruise operators visiting Svalbard in 2026 are expected to participate in this important meeting.

National and local authorities, along with other stakeholders, will provide updated information about cruising in Svalbard and visiting Longyearbyen. The goal is to ensure the best possible experience for operators, partners, guests, and the local community.

The focus will be on the 2026 season, with a brief update on recently introduced regulations and the status of notified regulations, and what these will mean for operations.
