Meet AECO’s New Digital Content Creator

AECO is pleased to introduce the new Digital Content Creator, Håvard Vatshelle, who joined the Communications Department in April.
Can you tell us a bit about your background?
My background is in film and photography. I have created videoes, photos and media for a broad range of clients, and working with different people has made my approach more human-centered.
What drew you to this role and to AECO?
With previous experience in tourism, AECO’s focus on responsible Arctic tourism was a natural fit. The combination of creating value for local communities while contributing to the protection of nature was a particularly strong motivation.
I have a strong interest in learning more about Arctic communities and the role communication can play in strengthening cooperation between stakeholders, AECO members, and local communities.
What are you most excited about as you get started?
