Compliance

AECO’s objective is to ensure that expedition cruises and tourism in the Arctic is carried out with the utmost consideration for the vulnerable, natural environment, local cultures, communities, and cultural remains, as well as the challenging safety hazards at sea and on land.

Membership payment

Full and Provisional members pay an annual membership due based on total number of berths for sale per season, and a passenger fee. Please indicate number of berths for sale for calculation of dues. Please note that membership of AECO is not considered complete until the first invoice has been paid.

Termination of membership

According to AECO’s Bylaws Article III, Section G, members wishing to drop their association with AECO must do so before September 1st of the prior year. The withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the AECO’s Secretariat.
