Joint Arctic SAR
In the past decade, Arctic Search and Rescue (SAR) organizations and the Arctic expedition cruise industry have strengthened their collaboration through exercises and initiatives.
A key part of these efforts is the annual Joint Arctic SAR Event, which strengthens coordination and preparedness in the challenging Arctic environment, promotes information sharing, and offers a platform for networking.

JASE 2026 brought together 70 Arctic SAR stakeholders in Reykjavik to strengthen preparedness, coordination, and collaboration across sectors. Marking its 10th anniversary, the event focused on emerging risks, resilience, and effective cooperation in an increasingly complex Arctic operating environment.
