An IAATO member since 1991, Abercrombie & Kent charters and operates Le Lyrial (Chartering from fellow IAATO member Compagnie du Ponant), an ice-reinforced vessel carrying 199 passengers. The Le Lyrial is a state-of-the-art luxurious vessel built in 2010 with cabin sizes ranging from 200 sq. feet to 485 sq. feet (100% passenger cabins and suites with private balconies during A&K charters). The vessel carries a fleet of Zodiac landing crafts and an experienced crew. All departures are accompanied by a distinguished A&K team of naturalists and lecturers. Founded as a safari company in 1962, A&K serves over 100,000 travelers annually on all seven continents handled by 55+ company owned offices.
