Since adventurer Henry Cookson founded the business in 2009, Cookson Adventures has pioneered the concept of world firsts in ultra-luxury experiential travel. From organising the first privately-manned commercial submersible dive in Antarctica to carrying out crucial conservation work in the Galápagos Islands, Cookson is putting innovation at the heart of extraordinary journeys. The team of travel specialists meticulously craft entirely bespoke experiences that explore the boundaries of travel. Through its worldwide network of dedicated experts including scientists, marine biologists, conservationists and award-winning photographers, expeditions are designed for a global client base made up of the world’s most successful people. Those with a curiosity and thirst for exploring the planet’s furthest reaches, without sacrificing the highest levels of comfort and elegance. Cookson’s highly experienced Antarctic expedition staff bring a wealth of knowledge to engage, educate and inspire guests whilst maintaining the highest level of safety. They operate under a strong set of values, supporting scientific and conservation programs wherever possible and work to the highest environmental standards. An expedition to the Peninsula in January 2019 funded ground-breaking research into identifying a new subspecies of orca.
