Greenlandic gemstone jewellery featuring Greenlandite, one of the world’s oldest gemstones, collected in licensed areas near Nuuk and crafted into unique handmade pieces.

A Piece of Greenland is a family-owned business run by Manumina Jensen Poulsen, originally from Nuuk and now based in Sisimiut. The company creates jewellery using Greenlandic gemstones, including Greenlandite, estimated to be 3.8 billion years old, as well as white quartz. The gemstones are collected in small-scale licensed areas near Nuuk, shaped and polished in Poland, and set in sterling silver from EU. Visitors can purchase the jewellery at Hotel Søma and the souvenir shop at Hotel Sisimiut.
