Shape the Future of Arctic Expedition Cruising
AECO is a membership-driven organization leading the way in responsible Arctic expedition cruising.
Since 2003, we’ve grown into a trusted voice in the industry, powered by members who set the highest standards for sustainable tourism and actively contribute to solutions for climate, safety, and local benefit.
Our Secretariat brings together dedicated professionals driving strategy, innovation, and action across maritime operations, policy, environmental protection, and community engagement.
We believe the Arctic deserves the highest standards. To make it happen, we need passionate people who share our vision.

How We Work
From our head office in Tromsø and branches in Longyearbyen, Nuuk, Odense, and Copenhagen, we offer a truly international work environment with a mix of ages, cultures, and professional backgrounds.

No two days are alike. Our work spans policy development, stakeholder engagement, field operations, and strategic communications. One day you might be shaping strategy, the next speaking at an international conference.
Despite being spread across locations, we stay closely connected. The full team meets virtually every week and gathers in person twice a year for staff events that combine planning, workshops, and team-building activities – blending learning, inspiration, and collaboration.

We value trust, transparency, and continuous development. At AECO, you’ll be encouraged to grow, contribute, and make a real impact. Your work will help shape the future of responsible Arctic expedition cruising while collaborating with passionate colleagues in an environment that blends learning, inspiration, and purpose.
